We can do better.
Since our founding over 17 years ago, we've always been mindful to respect those with different views. We've avoided posting or discussing political issues with our customers because we feel that there should be a separation between politics and our business. Racial injustice is not a political issue, it is a human rights issue and it's something that we can all improve if we participate.
Our workforce diversity has always been one of our strengths. We often take for granted the relative racial harmony we experience in our pocket of Silicon Valley. Racial injustice is real and it's up to all of us, whether we believe we are directly affected or not, to work to end it. We don't pretend to have the answers, but one thing we do believe is that silence about these issues will not make them go away.
We believe that we can do better. By speaking up when we see injustice, making sure that we continue to be an equal opportunity employer, providing financial support to causes for reform, and working towards being better towards each other every day.
