2020 Year in Review

2020 was a year of big challenges. Like many small businesses we were immediately thrust into a new reality seemingly overnight. For a two week period in March we were down to just our Co-Founder, Justin Sanderson, filling orders out of our warehouse.

We immediately began re-configuring our work spaces to keep our employees safe as they returned. We examined all of our processes to look for ways to improve our workflows and output so that we could keep everyone safe, employed and able to meet the urgent needs of our K-12 customers.

The increased demand for devices for remote learning created shortages and price hikes throughout our industry. We worked tirelessly to source and provide devices to our K-12 customers all while keeping prices as low as possible and maintaining our high standards of quality. We provided flexible payment and shipping options to get our customers devices when and where they needed.

In 2020 we:

  • Added new iPad imaging racks that allow us to image and charge over 1,000 iPads at a time.
  • Added new Chrome imaging racks and audit capabilities.
  • Upgraded "The Beast" with new Mac Pro servers to speed up and improve our Mac imaging and audit process.
  • Designed new shipping boxes which allow us to reduce carbon and waste.
  • Revamped our inventory, order and service management systems for greater accuracy and speed.

We head into 2021 stronger than we did going into 2020 with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to meeting the needs of our K-12 customers.

A big 'Thank you' goes out to all of the customers, employees and partners that helped us get through 2020 and who will be with us going forward into the new year.
