iPadOS 17 System Requirements

The first developer beta of iPadOS 17 is being made available immediately. Public betas will begin later in the summer, and the shipping version will be released in the Fall.

Once the shipping version is released, Tech to School will be offering it as a pre-installed OS option for iPads that can support it.

The new iPadOS 17 will run on the following iPads:

iPad Pro (2nd generation and later)
iPad Air (3rd generation and later)
iPad (6th generation and later)
iPad mini (5th generation and later)
